off to paris

travel planner: paris 2010

it's hard
to believe
that
i am off
to paris.
i feel like
i just got
back from texas.
i am swamped
with work
but
this our
final vacation
before
the big push
to finish
my dissertation.

.

funny,
no matter
how hard
i try
to include
everything
on my planner,
i always forget
something.
some day
i will
get it
just
right.
i penciled
in the outfits
because
it's weather
and
excursion
dependent...
grub's in
charge
of the agenda.
i just know
there's
lots of
crepe-eating
on the agenda.

.

i leave you
with my
favorite
polaroid
from
the last time
i went
to paris
in 2007
with my mother.
while
i am there,
march 19th,
my mother
will turn 75.
paris will
always remind me
of her.
wish she
could come
with us.

see you
in 10 days!

why do you insist on torturing me with your constant traveling stories? How I wish I could be there with you two...I would be as happy as a little (parisian) girl.....

Plenty of stripes... yep, you are ready for Paris.

You are sure to have had the most wonderful time. I look forward to seeing what you share of your Parisian days here on your blog.

you're SO cute! Hey I've always felt badly about our paper swap we did ages ago--yours was SO much better than mine! I've recently been collecting vintage children's books, some of which I worked up the nerve to cut into. I would love to send you some clips. Email me your address?

have the most wonderful time in paris.

your drawing is just too perfect. maybe i should attempt something similar (not that i can draw), just to help with the wardrobe shopping, since real shopping is not on at the mo.
