life among boxes

where did
the week go?

it's been a
whirlwind...

here's the update:

hosting
our first thanksgiving
was a success...

some worked:

some slept:

some did
unnessasary
decorating:

and one
for for the birthday boy:

but then
life changed
quickly
and
we are now
living
among boxes...

from this:

to this:

fortunately
we had
two
amazing
houseguests

from ottawa
on their
way to mexico

who came
to our rescue
and helped us
pack!

more soon...
not sure when
but soon.

i love the chickie place mats. now they are probably packed in a box, the way my belongings should be but so flagrantly aren't. [ps for some reason the feed for this post didn't show up in my little live feeds thingie...]

Those place mats!! How fantastic are they? Your use of motifs is so good - simple but so well balanced. I am in awe!

Hope the box bit passes quickly with a minimum of fuss. I obviously have some kind of illness because although I hate packing up, I just love the unpacking, the chance to try everything in new places, sorting and making order.

I know you will be sad to leave your fabulous apartment, but I hope your new home provides you with a fresh playground.

I feel sad that you have to move from your beloved apartment, but you have lots of new wonderful memories to make in your new place and i look forward to reading all about them.
Good luck with the move.

Everything looked so beautiful. Good luck on the move, there is always something very stressful, yet cathartic about packing up your belongings and carrying them away. At least that's what I've always tried to convince myself of. xo
