it always
reminds me
of a smith's song...
remember
which one?
well,
i was waylaid
when i tried
to get home
to take photos
of my coats
before
the sun
went
down.
so i am afraid
i will have
to delay
the collection collective
until tomorrow
so i can take
some decent photos...
but until then
i will tell you
a little more
about my trip.

so when
grub and i travel
we usually
hit wine stores
(grub)
and
yarn shops,
shoe stores,
and
galleries
(me)...
there are
a few sf gals
in
my stitch-n-bitch
here in DC
(namely
my dear friend
mel)
that
have raved about
art fibers
so it was
on our
itinerary
when we
arrived
in sf...



they do have
gorgeous yarn
but
i discovered
that i am very
project-based
and not
so much
yarn-based...
i loved the yarn
but i was
overwhelmed
because i did not
have a project
in mind.
i did buy
a skein
of fat pink yarn

that i just
couldn't
resist.

my favorite
yarn store
was this place
i that
grub discovered
in petaluma
(of all places)
i lost
my knitting needle box
on the plane
and needed
to purchase
some new ones...
so i grub found
this place for me:

it is one
of the coolest
yarn stores
i have seen...
