surprise from amy

yesterday
it turned out to be
one of those beautiful
pre-storm evenings…


when i came home
there was a huge package
waiting for me
from amy!!!

amy and i
decided to do our own
use what you have swap.
originally we were going to
exchange craft materials
but then we realized that
i have to much yarn
and she has too much fabric.
so we decided to make things
for each other instead.

amy is craftier
and quicker
than i am
and she already whipped up
a beautiful
orange and blue pillow
for my office

and a pointy kitty
for my bedroom!

and if that wasn’t already
amazing
she even included
a handmade drawstring bag
and goodies:

wow wow wow!
in addition to her sewing creativity,
amy is also
a wonderful photographer.
we first became

because we both
