start our trip

in SF.
jet-lagged
and exhausted
we sit,
eat and drink
through
the lunch hour.
grub likes
to sit
at the bar
to see the prep
for dinner.
this year
the view
was
fascinating
but
a little...
gross.
the food
is always
very good.
but the
dessert
was
amazing.
the next day
w. coast pony
flew in
from seattle.
we had
to go
to
bluebottle coffee.
then off to
napa for
sparkling wine
tasting
(this year's agenda)
lunch at
bouchon.
more tasting.
dinner at
ubuntu.
and
we called it
a night.
