la chaux-de-fonds

it was an
amazing
autumn day
when we
took the train to
la chaux-de-fonds.



it was still warm
and the leaves
had begun
to change.

 

we spent
the afternoon
wandering
the streets
while
wee grub napped
in the carrier.



we followed
the walking map
and saw
some of
the
architecture
that put
this town
on the
UNESCO
world heritage list.



in the late
afternoon
we found a spot
in the shade
of a cafe.
we
ate crepes
and
people-watched
until
it was time
to catch
the train home.



i hoping
for a few
more small
trips
before
we leave
to the states
then mexico.
