i did that
so often
when i lived
in seattle
but rarely
do i meet
friends
for coffee
in d.c.
perhaps
it's the
difference
in weather.
today
i am having
trouble
concentrating.
dreaming
of spending the night
at
this hotel.
loving
this pocket tee
and
these tights.
wanting
this necklace.
thinking
that
i am going to
just wear
blues & greys
stripes & metal
this fall.
. . .
tonight
dinner
at Poste
with grub
for
our monthly
anniversary.

If we were meeting for coffee, I think I'd sift through my fall clothes box first and bring you something blue gray metallic or striped for clothes swap. I'll take something orange in exchange. Perhaps we are trading color places this fall? P.S. I think you should order those tights right now (if you haven't already). xox
