in the mood for change

obamarama

2009.
year of change.

bring it on.

not just
with
a new
administration
(i can hardly wait)
but
with
every
thing.

it's been
a rough year
for me
and
i am
hoping
2009
brings
some
changes
around here.

. . .

the inauguration
festivities
started.
dc
is crazy
but
not
crazy good.

the excitement
is palpable.

grub and i
are off to an
inauguration ball
tonight...
then
tomorrow
we
bundle up
and head down
to the
national mall
tomorrow early.
it's cold here

bundled up

and
we don't have
any
special tickets
but
even if
i can't
see a thing
i just want
to be
among all
the people
who feel
as excited
as i do.

happy 2009
everyone!

It's been a rough year for me too! The roughest yet, and I look forward to some "out with the old, in with the new!"

I think there are many people who are relieved to say goodbye to 2008---me among them!

I hope you find the changes you need.

I come, sometimes, on your blog. I really like your colourful tights and socks, your creations and the shelves full of books, behind you... Beautiful!
