(daily target in milwaukee)
last week
i was in
milwaukee
for
a meeting.
i honestly
knew nothing
of the city
(besides the
recently completed
milwaukee art museum)
but
i discovered
it was quiet
an charming
city
of riverwalks
of brew pubs
and
great
old
new
(saarinen war memorial)
and
newer architecture
.(milwaukee art museum)
but now
i am back
and
anxious
to get
things done
in both
art
and science
before
august comes
to a close...
{yikes}
i am excited
about
a little
collaborative
blog project
that
i will announce
on wednesday-
until then!

My family is from Milwaukee and I went to high school in the area (I currently live in Madison). IMHO, it is a vastly underrated city, though that's not necessarily a bad thing (I have deep-seated fears that it will be discovered by hipsters and subsequently ruined forever!). Your pictures of it are wonderful! So glad you enjoyed yourself!

i've always thought wisconsin would be a great place to live. do they have good caterpillars there?
