underbug
{underdog + bugheart = underbug}
another
underbug
purse.
i figured out
how to
sew on my
purses
with my machine.
i am saving
for
a machine
like lisa's.
it does fancier
stitches.
my friend jenna
sent me
this photo.
i almost died.
now i have
to learn
evil intarsia.
sigh.
off to nyc
tomorrow
for a grub
restaurant shoot
for this book
and
i get to try
the new
restaurant
where
my brother works.
i think that
i'll take
my film camera.
how's about that?
have a lovely
weekend!
more soon.
xo

love the under-bug purse!
have fun in ny & yes take the film camera.
Wow,
I think it's funny that they have the listing for the book on Amazon, and he's still taking pictures of it...and it won't be released for month and months.
Oh wow, you and Lisa with that tank purse -- just fabulous.
Very nice!!!
You make beautiful things. Inspiring..

oh. the brown and gray .... lovely. i love that i have no idea what you might do... :D
say hi to NY. film sounds good....
underbug! too cute!
hope nyc is treating you well right now. :)
Loving the underbug creation, have a lovely weekend!
Love the name underbug!
The mittens are actually stranded knitting, which is actually way easier than intarsia. It's fun, you should definitely try it.
Love the mittens - I eagerly await their arrival. Hope to see you at SnB soon.
Just out of curiosity - where does the e.e. cummings layout of your blog come from?
thanks
everyone!
sungopolis-
it started
in high school,
pre-internets...
i use to write
letter on
an old
typewriter
that didn't
work so well...
liked the way
it looked
so it stuck.
i am sure
ee cummings
had something
to do
with it.
i love his work.
bugheart,
you're my kind of girl.
underbug is fantastic!
hope you had a great nyc weekend. the moma show sounded like fun... i need to take advantage of this little work lull + long weekend to head over there + the whitney, i think. xox
