to do

i have been
making
a lot
of lists...

it's how
i have been
getting
through
the day
and
trying
{trying so hard}
to stay focused.

the most
difficult
of my resolutions.

how do you
stay focused
or rather
how
do you
keep
from being
distracted?

one of the
greatest
feelings
is a list
of crossed off
accomplishments
at
the end of the day.
then,
i can truly
go home
and relax.

but i make
more lists
at home.
things
to knit
and sew.

. . . . .

over the holidays,
i helped
my
computer-phobic
brother
get a blog
going:

work in progress

where he
photographs
his paintings
as they evolve.

when it comes
to focus,
my brother
must
have gotten
the lionshare
of those
genes
in our family.

still some
hours
left
in the day.
back to work
i go.

i love that outfit you're wearing up top there

re: focus

i have major inattention issues. i've learned that my mind will wander and it is my job to tell myself to get back on track

you have the most beautiful lists i've ever seen

when it comes to lists for stuff to do at home (i.e. the fun stuff) i've stopped making those lists. i've found that i get to each thing i want to do in my own time. when i made the to-do lists of fun things i always felt a little bad when i didn't get all of them done.

Best of luck with the penning of lists and the crossing off items once complete. I have yet to master such a feat.
see you, grache

A fully crossed off list! Whoa..you are my hero.

I, too, have been making a lot of lists in the New Year...but not getting much of anything crossed off them. In deep winter, everyting seems just a little harder to accomplish....

focus has been the hardest thing for me too. being on the computer all the time for school (or so i tell myself!) is part of it... i am trying to limit computer time to specified parts of the day, which helps a bit.
and lists... oh how i love the making of a list.
the new bags are beautiful! xox
