collect the moments

one by one
I guess that's how
the future's done...
{feist
}

it's
a cool
gray
afternoon
that
reminds
me of
walking home
after
elementary
school
with
my siblings.
the days
when you
knew
summer
was really gone.
my mom
was
at home
with
apple cider
and
pepparkakor.
i could
use
some
cider and
pepparkakor
today.

i am in love
with grays
and browns.
my sister
(the fashionista)
tells me
that's
the colors
this year.
so i am knitting
in grays
and browns
and i find it
very soothing.

i am so glad
that i
take the metro
to and from
school...
it gives me
time to sit
and knit...
just
a little bit
every day.
i can't quite
explain
why it's
so important
to me...
but somehow
it centers me
every day.
it reminds me
that
each little stitch
will someday
become something
bigger.

these
are some
of my
metro
creations:

for
the
shop update
friday at 2pm
EST
(polaroids
soon).

hope you
have time
for
fika
today.

Gwen, these bags are gorgeous- I'd have to say they are my favorite ones yet!

I really, really need to learn to knit already. It's just one of those things that is getting pushed to the back burner, but I know once I begin, I'll never want to stop. That's not a bad thing, though :)

OH- brown has always been a favorite of mine but recently grey has stolen the spotlight. I wish I had a house so I could paint a wall grey.
