grin & bear

grin & bear
is
playing in my ears
(one of my
all time
favorites),
it's been
that kind of week.
has it been
that kind
of week
for you?

well
i already
broke
my daily post goal.
this week
and it's
only wednesday.

tuesday
got away
from me.

. . . . .

i am happy
with my
little
jes hutch
bear...
i finished him
waiting
for our
very delayed train
going home
to dc.
mr bear
was earless
for most
of the weekend
{i was trying to
figure
out to
alter the ears}
so
i took to
calling him
hochi the earless
and
he pestered
grub
the whole
trip up
to nyc
on the train.

i also mailed
off
chapter 10

of the
the owen chase project.

i will only
get one more
off to
my brother
at penland
because
we pick him up
this weekend!

i still have
over a hundred
chapters to go...
have you
guessed the book?
no telling johnny,
okay!?

i finished
some purses
last night
so
more stuff
to show
tomorrow...
some day
i'll get around
to scanning
the stack
of polaroids
for
polaroid.a.day.

have a
lovely
wednesday-
the week's
halfway
over-
yikes!

Please practice Cruelty-Free knitting by securing the eyes last on all softies. YOU wouldn't want to witness a doctor placing your arm back on, so why should they!
I held his little hand while we witnessed Ms. Bugheart attach his ears. I knew he was a brave bear when his face did not show the horror he felt on the inside.

What an adorable knitted bear! (I love that knitting is one of the few crafts you can bring with you while travelling). Have a good evening!
