poodlesitting ::: friday finds

i am
poodlesitting
this weekend.
grub has
been
poodlesitting
all week
but
it's my turn
while
grub is in NYC.
they are
sweet dogs
and
i kinda like
the whole
meet all
the other
dog owners
at the park
at 7am thing.
it's like
a little club
for which
i have a
the weekend
membership
while
their owners
are in paris-
yes, paris!
bummer
for them.

yesterday
was a good
village day.

my finds for friday:

1. polaroid swinger

i already have
one of these
somewhere...
this is
my favorite
polaroid
for pure looks.
i'll pass
this camera
on to the
polaroid queen
when i find
my other one.
i just
got film
for it.
i have this
crazy idea
of lisa
and me
running
around
town
taking photos
with
our matching
cameras
like the
doublemint twins.
check out
this
amazing polaroid!

2. vintage reversible wrap skirts

not one
but two
reversible
wrap skirts!
i love
wrap
skirts
they always fit.

3. lavender sweater

this is
for my
blue,
purple,
and gray
themed trip
next month.
when i travel
i pick
color themes
to
[try to]
limit
what i take.

4. vintage apron!

how apropos
after
i just
posted about
vintage aprons
for
the collection collective.

5. vintage curtain

cute fabric.
not sure
what to do
with this...
maybe
a pillow?

6. vintage button covers

maybe i'll
make some
cute
vintage fabric
buttons...

7. vintage kodaslide compartment file

cool storage
container
for my slides...

does anyone
have slides
anymore?
i LOVE slide shows.
like good old
real projector
slide shows.

okay,
back to work.
enjoy
the
weekend!

Lucky you, lucky poodles- sounds like you're all having fun! I like your description of the dog park.I used to spend every morning at a dog park with my 2 pooches( but now I walk them-that way I get some excercise!) I really like all the AMAZING friday finds this time. How do you do it???!! I'm lusting over them all. I love slide shows- we used to do them on new year's eves- everyone brought x amount of slides and we mixed them all up and then made up stories about the images. It was lots of fun.

Hi there!

Love the apron and fabric! I am considering visiting DC just for the Village shopping! Wouldn't mind meeting you either. :)

I have several vintage slide boxes from when I used to shoot slides. I never could find a working prjector though...

Cheers!

I have over 5,000 slides! You would not believe the headache is was to organize them into binders...thank god my partner helped me otherwise I would have began throwing them at people, lol. And the dog parks around here(Dc) rock. I work at friendship hospital for animals and have met sooo many people through my job- dog people tend to be nice.
And I must go to the village with you and shop, I'm so ubber jealous.

fun fun! i have lots of slides of birds killed by pesticides... um, bummer. and guys in hazmat suits, and some of bugs. but mostly scary things. we'll have to have plenty of flaming volcanos before you put my slides in.
