missing my corners

i haven't been
spending
much time
at home lately.
i have been
attempting
to study
late each night.
when i
do finally
get home
spot [my cat]
practically hurls
herself at me
for lack
of attention...
then
i work out
and sit down
with spot
for
another
hour or two
of studying
before bed.

so
lisa's post
hit home
[hehee]
with me today.
i miss
being home.
in my
own space
and
dinners
with grub
[who is
currently
poodlesitting]
and spot
[who
begs for food
like a dog].

it is
so important
to have
some time
in your own
space
away
from work
to reset
your spiritual
clock.

i too
am
a homebody.
i like to have
parties
and
people over
but i love
to do it
from
the comfort
of my
own home.

hope you
are
enjoying
some time
relaxing
at home.

lovely home
corners

sounds like you need to take a family nap with grub and spot! it works wonders, believe me.

I am a total homebody too. But I decided that I want to be a homebody in your home. Is that cool? I can sleep in your breakfast nook and hang out with the Saddleback during the day; I don't think Grub will mind.

Cheers!!

this really stikes a chord w/me today. i was having a horrible week at work & felt like i was about to hit my breaking point this morning. so i took the afternoon off. time to chill with my pooch, do whatever i want, recharge. feels so good...and it was much needed!

What a lovely space. I can tell you I am a complete homebody, so is Peter. It is our sanctuary, our refuge, and when I'm gone too long I get a little anxious.

sign me up for the homebody list. i've been home late all week, just in time to drop my stuff at the door, kick off my shoes and drop into bed, so i know what you mean about missing spending time in your home. hopefully you'll get some quality time with all those beautiful corners this weekend! ~ag

i love being a homebody in your house, too! give spot a head scratch from me. and don't study so hard, your forehead will swell up, and that is so unsightly.
