rainy day give-away™

more storm skies...

it's
crazy rainy
here
in dc.
one of my
collecting sites
was under
2 feet of water!
more rain
tonight.
sigh

so i was
looking over
the lovely tags
from dacia's
gift tag swap
and i noticed
a theme...

this was my message
attached to the tag.

was i too preachy?
i just feel
that we
don't
give enough.
i feel lucky
(most of the time)
so
i feel like
it's good to
learn to
give more.
that's all
i meant.
check out
this
wealth giveaway!!!

but i am
enjoying
my gift tags
and will have
a difficult time
giving
them away
with gifts!

speaking of giving...

here's
a very late
monday
give-away™...

please check here
for
the great monday
give-away™ guidelines.

this month
i am broke
so i ask
that you
please
pay shipping

if you would
like something.
sorry.
budgeting
is not my forte.

check here
for other
monday give-aways!

onward...
the great monday give-away™:

1. yarn taken!
a. purple-blue-pink nubby yarn

b. reds-n-pinks ribbon yarn

both are
very pretty
but i have
no plans
for them.
so it goes
from
my stash
to yours.
claim one
or both.

2. vintage 60s pin taken!

very stylish
but i never
wear it.
don't know
why that is either.
i am actually
having pangs
to keep it-
but no,
it's for you!

3. hello kitty pink tin taken!

great for gifts
or storing little things
like buttons.

hope you find
something you like!

please pass on the word about
great monday give-away™.
i look forward to
your postcards.

tomorrow
i will post
beth's
great monday give-away™
postcard...

until then,
xo

Preachy? Please. Bring it on! In a world where I am surrounded by the message to 'get more', I just LOVE 'give more'. And anyway, you canget away with it because you live what you say.

Oooh, could I please have the yarn? I'll send you my address and you can let me know the best way to get you the dough for shipping. Thanks! :)

I'm interested in the pin if it isn't already spoken for. Thank you!

If Samantha doesn't want to pay shipping on the Hello Kitty tin, I'd love to have it. My best friend collects HK goodies! And I love your message of giving. We all need to remember that constantly!!! (And I will gladly pay postage on my other goodies if you'll just send me a paypal invoice.)

too funny about the gift tags. I liked yours - they are so very pretty and I know what you mean about having a hard time giving them away. I gave one up already and it was difficult! But, what use are they in my wrapping stash anyhow...

Oh - I need to find out about that gift tag swap next time cause that looks fun -- not that mine will be any good but it would be a fun challenge. Anyhooo - love yours and your message.
