on friday
grub & i
took a little
day trip to
lausanne.
i have been
wanting to go
inspired by
several
online guides
to the city.
we tried
zooburger
{i needed
a veggie burger
fix}.
walked around
the big cathedral
and listened
to organ
practice.
checked out
the many
design stores,
wine shops,
and
chocolatiers.
tried to go
to the
american
cupcake
shop
{closed
for vacation}.
and
of course
bought
some macarons
at ladurée
and
ate them
by the lake
as the storm
rolled in.
a little
of everything
to start
our weekend.

oh! laduree macarons!!! how i'm missing switzerland right now! next time go ten minutes further to morges. it's beautiful. :)
