i woke up
at 7ish
to write
a few letters
before
heading
to the market
with philippa.






it began to rain
so we
took shelter
under
the cafe
umbrellas.




when
the rain
let up
i felt
emboldened
and
took
some more
photographs.










then
off
to check out
the knitting store
{big disappointment}
and
take
my shoes
to the repairman
{good practice
of french
vocabulary}.



now it
is pouring
outside.
a good time
for bread
& cheese
and
getting
some work done.
