and then the rain came

1_may14

i woke up
at 7ish
to write
a few letters
before
heading
to the market
with philippa.

2_may14
neuchatel market: pied-bleu
4_may14
neuchatel market: croissants

it began to rain
so we
took shelter
under
the cafe
umbrellas.

when
the rain
let up
i felt
emboldened
and
took
some more
photographs.

neuchatel market: lettuce casualties

then
off
to check out
the knitting store
{big disappointment}
and
take
my shoes
to the repairman
{good practice
of french
vocabulary}.

now it
is pouring
outside.
a good time
for bread
& cheese
and
getting
some work done.

bon week-end!

There's such a lovely beauty to rainy days - it makes all the greens really vibrant.

Miss you, bugsy.
