i was
determined
{maybe foolishly}
to make
a dent
in my
long
to do list
over labor day.
i have been
planning
a herbivory
series
all
summer...
between
feeding caterpillars
i gocco-ed
in my lab.
took me
all summer
to get to it
but...
(in etsy shop friday)
check.
i finally
dropped off
my sick
canon rebel
film camera
at the
repair shop
and
broke out
my old AE-1
i got in 1992
before my
1st trip
to europe.
it had some
old film
in it
and a
disintegrated strap.
since i
am crappy
at sewing,
i felted myself
a new strap
using the
hardware
from the old strap.
{no more worrying
about dropping it}
check.
stop by my
favorite
new {to me}
coffee shop.
(with the
perfect bag)
check.
take photos
for
trinoculars.
check.
there was
more
but...
well,
it's not
all done yet.
not too
bad.

glad you enjoyed the long weekend. we crammed as much summer into the weekend as possible: swimming, creemees, croquet and petanque, caprese salads, you name it. still, this week has felt like a real summer. mosquitoes and all. xo
which camera shop did you take yours to? I have had a broken old minolta for over a year and have not done a thing about it...

I spent the weekend visiting friends, traveling up North and hanging out with my month old nephew.
