cut the tether
{favorite birdies}
every
now and then
i make a purse
that i am
quite pleased with...
this is rare
because
i am pretty
obsessive compulsive
about things.
i am
quite fond
of this little
number
and this
is my
favorite
underbug
purse/clutch
thus far...
they are
off
in a batch
to
last waltz.
still working on
the
bugheart
architecto
purse...
but orders
have priority.
the other night
i declared
"no more purses"...
i feel
like i have
tied myself
to a tether.
we shall see.
lately i have
wanted
to crochet.
so damn
inspired
by
this
(link via camilla).
amazing.
also
the next wave
to come is
felt hexapods.
yes, that's
my next project.
but first,
i have to get
this
one
last purse
perfected.
also
i have been
neglecting
a thank you
to
the sweet
alyssa
who sent me
horace:
to help
me study
for my exam.
so so sweet.
thank you
so much alyssa!
you too
can have your
own horace
here.
{cool details}
tomorrow,
i think
i will go to
value village.
it's been
too long.
have a lovely
end of week!

i wish i could crochet.
so what direction did your ball go when you cut the tether??
i love all the purses.
owe you a response.
i also loved that crochet artist!
love that the zippers match the silhouettes! such an amazing detail.
Sad to see that amazing fleet of beautiful purses go to Last Waltz, but what a great looking place to display your wares.
That pink bird purse is divine, I can see why it is a favorite.
I can't wait to see your hexapods, very exciting!
Thanks so much for the horace shout-out and homey pics.
I didn't feel neglected at all:)!
That little pink bird... so delightful. And I know that feeling all too well... today in particular.
take care, g xx
Ooh, so many wonderful purses! I am loving the orange and grey combo, so striking and fresh. Looking forward to your new projects (love the bird).
I love the yellow purse! And the tank clutch too. I knit my husband a hat with a tank on it but now I think I need a tank something too.
Colored zippers---is that a new development? So clever!
E.
all so good. and i can't wait to see the collembolas!
ps - i see you listed munemitsu taguchi on your list of artists on the side there - we met him at the show on sunday. we loved him - he was so fun to talk to - and we loved his work, too. hoping to own some of his work one day.
Love the new title graphis....luv emily's work....luv the lil' birdie bag...keep on steamrollin' ahead
The bird purse is indeed lovely! I love birds, and that's the perfect shade of yellow. I know I'd walk with a spring in my step if I carried a purse like that.
Can't wait to see the hexapods.
thanks for the link to emily barletta. like her work so much! i'm really interested to see the hexapods in felt.
