corners . . . tags

spring has
inspired me
to get
those little
odds and ends
done around
corners of my home...

a while back
i bought
two of
these
beautiful
pieces
by
lisa solomon...
i found
two old
boxes
at
value village
and hung them
up to display
the mannequins.
i have been
meaning
to paint the inside
of the boxes...
finally
i decided
upon a color
and bought
some paint...
sweet chamomile
seemed
an
appropriate color...

what do you think?
lisa,
do you approve?

and
i organized
the piles
of things
on my dresser
by my bed
with the help
of more paint,
ikea,
and a drill
(damn those
hollow walls!)
...
i have been
working
on
some more
organizing
of corners.
more for
next week's
corners of my home...

. . .

i also
put
some tags
up in
my
etsy shop...
there
are sets
(like above)
or
individual
tags...
here are
some of my favorites:

more
detailed
views
on etsy
or here.

tomorrow
i am finally
going
to
value village
(it's been
too long!)
and
i will
share
my friday finds
with you.

until then,
xo

The color you chose is bright and cherry and makes them stand out.

Nice bedside design!

You need a 'stud finder' for sheetrock walls...
(No joke, that's what they're called!)

i just found your blog via lisa s's, and i have seen your lovely things on flickr before, i had no idea you had a blog! anyway, i admired your tags on flickr, too. i did a bunch of collages with tons of circles and then did some bookmarks to put in with my orders. the most labor intensive bookmarks of all time. anyway, i saw your tags and realized i could make more minimal collages with some little drawings or something...i thought you should know you inspired me! that is where this loooong story is going. hee!
